Yo Yo Yo

HOOORAAAH. Doing an interview this saturday morning with the reiki lady at her office. Originally it was supposed to be at her apartment. I'm glad it's changed to her office bceause it will be better looking footage with all the office details in the background, showing her as a professional rather than just some lady we're interviewing. I'm hoping she'll do a go through the motions session on Cassandra so we can see what it looks like. That's it for now, I'm hoping it turns out to be a real good interview, I'm sure at the very least it will be educational and "cool." Aight, I'm out, peace yo!

Nothing to post, wish it was different.

Ahh lets just get this weeks post out of the way since there isn't much goin on this week. I emailed the reiki lady to make sure we nailed down a date. It was originally planned for this saturday but since were all kinda busy I asked to reschedule it for next saturday. Hopefully that won't be a problem if it is, we'll just have to either fit it in before we show next or just get a bunch of good B-roll. That's really it. We're all pretty busy this weekend, I've got a big project plus I've got to get out to Blue Clay and do some mountain biking at the park(priority numero uno). Secondly Sunday is the only really good day for us and I'll probably be out shooting my 16mm for my cinematography class out in Burgaw or somewhere out there to get some cool barn/tobacco shack shots. That leaves us the problem of getting the stills for next class, I have three stills from last weekends shoot, but two are just me and Cassandra holding the camera and the other is just of the pills in her fridge. I guess they'll have to work for now. Alright I'm gonna do some researching for this South By Southwest festival.

Update

Well me and Cassandra got alot of good footage today. I went to her house and shot some good broll and stuff of her showing her daily routine which I can attest to, is grueling. After that we went to her chiropractic/acupuncture appt. to film that. It went really well and again got some really good footage. Jon was supposed to meet us there but failed to show. He never called so we have no idea if it was an emergency and he couldn't make it or if he just didn't show. Anyway Cassandra and I worked well together and got a lot done and had a good time. That's it. Peace.

Update

Well since I have to update and there isn't much to say today I'll just tell you all what we have going on tomorrow. Tomorrow at noon Cassandra and I are going to meet at her house and set up some B-roll shots of her medicine bottles, Cassandra giving herself shots, and other misc. crap like that. Then at 3, we're filming her appointment with her chiropractor/acupuncturist. That should be a good solid chunk of film. Jons joining us for that. He is in class during the earlier portion at her house. I don't know what else to say at the moment except that I'll post a review of how it all went later this weekend. - Peace out G thug.

Sheeet maaan

Man, long time no post. Haven't done jack squat in way of the Doc over break. The weather messed us up last Thursday and after that it was one thing after another on what was supposed to be a relaxing spring break. No excuses though, we still gotta deadline to get some B-roll and our first interview. I think next Thursday will be a good day as Thursday nights usually are. We definitely need to get the downtown shots and the shots of the latenight drive thru. There's also a pan or tracking shot of all Cassandra's pills lined up that we wanted to get. All solid B-roll footage. Of course it's important because nobody wants to look at a talking head the entire time. Not only is it boring, it's not very creative. I gotta be honest though, with graduation coming up I'm becoming more and more concerned with what's going to happen after graduation than what I have to do with school. It's not so much senioritis as it is stress of having to deal with the full brunt of getting a job in the film industry. Spring break was supposed to be a stress reliever, but it turned out to be almost as busy as when school is in session. My parents ended up having to come down to take care of some legal stuff, then my car wouldn't work for 2 days and nobody was around to help me fix it. And my hiking trip to Hanging rock got screwed up because they scheduled me for work Wednesday, but an hour before I was to go in they said I didn't have to work. bastards. grr. Yo nessecito mas B-roll.

Stupid killer storm

Well there's a 1000 mile wide storm rolling through the south, so shooting for tonight is canceled. Not only would there be nobody outside downtown, it'd be a pain in the ass to shoot as well as a chance of ruining some of the equipment from the rain. So we'll plan it for later next week. Shannon where are the comments at? You need to pick your game up!

What did I do for my group this week.

What have I done for my group this week. Well first and foremost Cassandra and I set up our first shoot for tonight. We're heading downtown to get the B roll footage of people being drunk and stupid. We're also getting a few shots of the drive-thrus at late night. Why you may ask? Well because we might use that footage to show the difference in the ways western society and eastern society treat their bodies. I've also shot an email over to the reiki lady to finalize an interview date/time. So I'm waiting to hear back from her. I also called Jon to let him know what he should put on the equipment list because he wasn't at the meeting and I knew he wouldn't know what lights we're using since I intern at Cinepartners and have access to all the lighting/gel/flags/c-stands I need. We've had some scheduling problems, last monday at our usual meeting time Cassandra couldn't make it because of an appt. and Jon called and said that he had to work. Hopefully I can help mediate a solid meeting time because this week to week shit isn't going to fly. Anyway enough ranting. That's it for now, I'll update in a few days and let everyone know how the shoot went and what's in store. - Sean
